Welcome to the Rhön Mesh Project

A decentralised, MeshCore-based citizen network for the Rhön region.

This website is still under construction. The project is already running – the site is catching up!

What is Rhön Mesh?

Rhön Mesh is a community-operated radio network based on LoRa and MeshCore. The network operates completely decentralised – without central servers, without an internet connection, and independent of any mobile network. It enables text communication and position tracking over distances of many kilometres.
