Firmware is the software that runs on your Companion. It connects the hardware to the MeshCore network and enables communication with other participants.

Many devices are already delivered with firmware installed. Nevertheless, it can be useful to check whether your device is running a current version.

Keeping the firmware up to date ensures that your Companion can use the latest MeshCore features and improvements.

Updating Firmware
